“It’s less than 24 hours and I am totally in love with the SmartScoot and just so excited to have made the wise decision to purchase this wonderful scoot.
Yesterday, I just drove it around inside the house and this morning decided to try outside. It will be fabulous! I was on the pavement, road, up and down the inclines – and the scoot performed incredibly well! Ian gave up trying to keep pace with me.
The top speed is amazing but I think I will stay with ‘low’ for getting through doors and when outside medium is quite fast enough for me.
We are so impressed with the quality and know the Scoot will give me lots of enjoyment. SmartScoot handled the streets of Unley Park so easily the occasional bump was nothing I can’t handle. I am so thrilled with the scoot, yesterday I took it to the shopping centre and it was fantastic. The past two years have been so difficult with my MS, I struggled to walk and every step was measured. For example, if I went to the pharmacy to get a prescription I would wait in the shop for medicine to be dispensed because I didn’t have the capacity to walk around. Yesterday with the scoot, I could go window shopping, have a coffee and return to the pharmacy. I honestly don’t know why I waited so long. I suppose that I thought purchasing a mobility device was the beginning of the end, but in fact, it has opened a new life for me. Friends who have seen the photo have been very supportive and say it’s a cute machine. I have changed the wire basket for a pink one and I have put a fixture on the handlebars and this pink basket just slides on the fixture and it’s easily removed with the press of a button.
Gosh, the scoot is so enjoyable I can see a potential problem of using it too often if I’m not careful.
Thank you for a wonderful product, of course living in Australia I was unable to test drive the scoot, but I relied on your website comments and they were so positive I felt confident enough to purchase.
Also, I can manage to lift the scoot into the boot without removing the weight of the battery. I remove the seat of course, and at this stage, I fumble a bit but sure after a week or so it will become easy with experience.

An update from Roz: “I have just been to Canberra to see the Cartier exhibition at the National Gallery and the scoot was marvelous even in crowded rooms. It was such a pleasure to be able to do the whole exhibition with ease. The scoot has been to New Zealand and Tasmania and the airlines handle Scoot well. Absolutely no issues. The battery goes forever and I couldn’t be more delighted.”
Another recent update from Roz: “The SmartScoot was fantastic in Hawaii, the pavements are made for the scoot and it was so easy to get around. What amazed me was the number of people who were interested in it and had never seen anything like it.
Taxi drivers, people in the street, the comments were constant. I thought that people there would have been accustomed to seeing the device, not so. I would have loved a dollar for everyone who said, ‘I want one of those.’
My SmartScoot has been on so many planes since I purchased it and I’ve never had any issues. Since purchasing in February 2018, it has been on 13 flights so that’s a good indication of the sturdy and well-made product. Without SmartScoot my life wouldn’t be so active, so a big thank you.”
