Step-by-Step Instructions on How to Adjust the Brakes on Your Mobility Scooter
- If you hear a metallic scraping sound, it may be time to adjust your brakes. In order to adjust your brakes, take the included Allen wrench and loosen or tighten the bolts on the outside of the brake until the scraping sound has stopped.
- If there is a noticeable gap between the blade of the wheel and the brake pad, you’ve done this correctly.
